“How likely is it that you would recommend this company to a friend or colleague?"
According to Fred Reichheld‘s 2006 bestseller The Ultimate Question, no question better gauges the loyalty of a company's customers. And according to PCMag’s reader base, Bitdefender is the first brand name that comes to mind for protecting devices from cyber threats.
A Readers’ Choice Award from PCMag does not come easy. Respondents are asked to rate products and services they actually use, meaning they will not hesitate to tell the truth, brutal or not.
Of the nine antivirus brands surveyed, only three earned ratings of 9.0 or higher for overall satisfaction and 8.9 or higher for likelihood to recommend. Bitdefender took the top spot, scoring 9.1 in both overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend.
With these ratings, PCMag bestowed upon us the prestigious Readers’ Choice award (again).
PCMag readers also rate us high in aspects such as cost, ease of use, and overall perceived trustworthiness of the brand.
We also earned the highest rating for satisfaction with tech support (8.8) and trustworthiness (9.3), as well as for satisfaction with several specific security tools built inside our security suites, like firewall protection (9.3), spam filter (9.0), ransomware protection (9.3), phishing protection (9.2), and VPN (8.8).
And wouldn’t you know it, Bitdefender trumped the competition on the mobile front this year as well, winning the Readers’ Choice Award for both our mobile security solutions.
Bitdefender’s Android protection got the highest satisfaction ratings by every measure, scoring 9.0 in overall satisfaction – half a point higher than our closest competitors.
We are humbled by the wealth of awards received from PCMag over the past year, including The Best Tech Products and Services of 2022, and the magazine’s famous Editors’ Choice Award for our Windows and Mac home security suites. Readers can see the full survey results here.
