Bitdefender Security for Creators is a solution designed to safeguard Content Creators present on social media platforms, such as YouTube, which includes several features from other Bitdefender home solutions.
This solution includes a specific security protection of your YouTube account, which is based on access via the YouTube API Services. Bitdefender will have access to all information in your YouTube account (such as channel name, channel ID, provider user ID) in order to view them, show them in Bitdefender Central, and alert you if something suspicious appears in relation to this account. The data is updated regularly, and is kept for the duration of this contract or API access, and maximum 30 days afterwards.
This data is used only by Bitdefender for ensuring information security of your account and is not shared with any third parties (except for hosting companies, which are Bitdefender’s processors).
Please note that all YouTube’s data processing is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
By using the Bitdefender Security for Creators service, which integrates with YouTube API Services, you also agree to be bound by YouTube’s Terms of Service.
