To install Bitdefender SecurePass:

• Activate your subscription in your Bitdefender account.
• Select SecurePass in the left menu.
• For Windows and macOS devices, install the browser extension in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.
• For mobile devices, install the app from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).

After installation:

• Log in with your Bitdefender account.
• Set up a master password, which will encrypt your data.
• Save your recovery key to regain access if you forget your master password.

The master password is used to encrypt and unlock your SecurePass vault. It is not stored by Bitdefender, making it crucial for protecting your data. You need this password to access all the information stored in SecurePass.

If you forget your master password, you can use the recovery key (saved during the setup process) to reset it and regain access to your vault.

To access SecurePass through any browser, go to https://securepass.bitdefender.com/ and log in with your Bitdefender account. The web client lets you view and manage your passwords without installing an extension. It offers the same features as the SecurePass browser extension, except for autofill and automatic password saving.

To add an item like an account, credit card, identity note:

1. Open SecurePass and click the “Add item” button.
2. Choose the item type (e.g., Account, Credit Card).
3. Enter the required information and click “Save.”

Yes, you can import passwords from other password managers:

1. Export your data from the old password manager.
2. In SecurePass, go to Settings > Import passwords.
3. Select the file type and import the data.

Bitdefender SecurePass can import passwords from the following password managers and browsers:

• Password Managers: 1Password, Bitdefender SecurePass, Bitdefender Password Manager, Bitdefender Wallet, Bitwarden, Dashlane, Kaspersky, Keepass, LastPass, Roboform, Saferpass.
• Browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox.

• For iOS: Go to Settings > General (or Passwords – for iOS 17 and earlier)> AutoFill & Passwords > enable Bitdefender SecurePass.
• For Android: Go to Settings > Passwords & accounts (or System > Language & Input > Advanced – for Android 11 and earlier) > Autofill service > enable Bitdefender SecurePass.

To organize items in folders:

1. Create a folder by pressing “Add folder.”
2. Name the folder and press “Create.”
3. To move an item, open it, tap the edit icon, and select the folder name.

You can securely share items from your vault by:

1. Selecting the item.
2. Choosing “Share link” from the menu.
3. Generate a share link with options like expiration dates, usage limits, and password protection.

If a shared link is password-protected and the wrong password is entered, SecurePass will display an error message, preventing access to the shared data.

After enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on a supported website or app, scan the QR code with SecurePass and save it in your vault. This code will be needed alongside your password for future logins.

The Groups feature allows you to share credentials with a group of people:

1. Create a group in the “Groups” section.
2. Share credentials with the group by setting specific rights (read, write, grant).

Yes. Right-click in the credit card form field during checkout, select Bitdefender SecurePass, and choose “Auto-fill credit card info” to automatically fill the details saved in your vault.

Bitdefender SecurePass includes a Security Report that evaluates your stored passwords, identifying:

• Breached passwords
• Weak passwords
• Old passwords (used for more than 6 months)
• Duplicate passwords

Yes. SecurePass uses end-to-end encryption and requires both your Bitdefender login and master password to access your data.

To end all active sessions and sign out from all devices:

1. Go to Settings in SecurePass.
2. Click the “Lock account” button.
