Here’s how to disable WiFi on BT Home Hub 5/ BT Home Hub 4/ BT Home Hub 3:
1. Using a computer connected to the BT router, open an Internet browser and type 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1 to log in to the web-based control panel.
2. When prompted, enter the username: admin and password (found on the router’s label)
3. Click on Advanced Settings.
4. Click on the Wireless tab –> 4GHz Wireless –> Wireless network enable –> select No –> Apply.
5. Click on the Wireless tab –> 5GHz Wireless –> Wireless network enable –> select No –> Apply.
6. Whenever you disable wireless, a pop-up will ask if you are sure. Click Yes to continue.
