How to Restrict Access to Bitdefender Settings with a Password

1. Access Settings:
   • Open the Bitdefender interface.
   • Click the Settings icon located on the left sidebar.
2. Enable Password Protection:
   • In the General tab, locate the Password protection option.
   • Click the switch to turn it on.
3. Set Your Password:
   • Enter your desired password in both fields. Ensure it is at least 8 characters long.
   • Click OK to confirm.
   • The switch will change color from gray (disabled) to blue (active), indicating that the Bitdefender settings password has been enabled.

Once activated, any attempt to modify Bitdefender settings critical to system security will require this password.

1. Navigate to the Settings icon on the left sidebar.
2. In the General tab, click on Password change.
3. Enter your current password and click OK.
4. In the new window, type your new password in both fields and click OK to finalize.
