Brewing Companies' French Web Sites Hacked

It seems that last Wednesday was not a very cheerful one for the French versions of the Web sites belonging to several brewing companies, such as Buckler, Panach, Pelforth, Heineken and Amstel.

(A couple of ) hackers operating under the aliases Kha and miX systematically defaced the respective companies` local pages hosted on Microsoft® Windows® 2003 servers, according to a content sharing platform that stores an archive of the duo’s attacks.

In previous defacements targeting Web pages of French public organizations, the hackers openly expressed their resentments against France and Israel, while also displaying an image of the Algerian Flag. As for the current case, no actual claims were made.
