Celebrity Plastic Surgery Clinic Hacked, Extortionists Claim Royals Present

London Bridge Plastic Surgery, a high-profile surgery clinic for celebrities, was the victim of a recent hack attributed to “The Dark Overlord” cybercriminal group, with extortionists claiming they have graphic images of royal members amongst others.

While it”s unclear how the breach occurred, the images are believed to be highly graphic, containing close-up shots with surgery performed on intimate men and female body parts, some even including faces. The hacker group is known to have been involved with other breaches, extorting victims for financial gains. They claim to distribute the full patient lists and photos, but there”s no mention of when or how much of the stolen data will be made available.

“We took measures to block the attack immediately in order to protect patient information and we informed the Metropolitan Police who launched an investigation,” according to an official statement from the clinic. “Regrettably, following investigations by our IT experts and the police, we believe that our security was breached and that data has been stolen. We are still working to establish exactly what data has been compromised.”

Authorities have been notified of the breach and they”re actively investigating leads, although no arrests have currently been made. While the cosmetic surgery clinic has already set in place a phone number that patience can use to check for additional information, they also stated how deeply saddened they are by the incident.

“We are profoundly sorry for any distress this data breach may cause our patients and our team are available around the clock to speak to anyone who has any concerns by calling 0203 858 0664,” said the clinic.

Although the clinic also tends to less famous patients, its likely cybercriminals will try to extort celebrities first, before publishing the stolen data online.
