SpexSec and Zer0Pwn Hacking Spree - Government Institutions Targeted

The two hacking groups have separately breached two government institutions from Louisiana and Tennessee, spilling classified data onto the internet.

SpexSec broke into a Tennessee Government Institution and published passport and visa information of over 200 people suspected of terrorism on Pastebin. The group claims more detailed information could have been published, but it would have taken too long to pile all the data together. The lengthy 589.06 MB file size is not exactly light reading.

“Like we promised, our primary suspects include the U.S Government for torturous and deceptive acts on our own soil, the Educational system for exuberantly being blown-over and belligerently not patching the holes in their system, and anybody else who partook a role in the Murder of America,” SpexSec wrote on Pastebin. “200+ Suspected Terrorists are our next reign of havoc.“

The second cyber-terrorist group, Zer0Pwn, hacked Louisiana Government’s Housing Finance Agency database and published e-mails, passwords, root users, and administrator credentials, claiming that more efficient security measures need to be set in place. “All of these attacks will continue, as long as your security is s—,” Zer0Pwn wrote on Pastebin.

Both hacker groups said more attacks will soon follow and they`ll continue to share information in the same manner. Although no specific targets were revealed, it`s likely that other government institutions will be targeted.
