Introducing MDR Breach Warranty

With the increasing frequency of breaches and the growing complexity of cybersecurity threats, it's important for organizations to partner with a security provider that they can trust. Bitdefender is more than just a technology platform, offering MDR services that supercharge organization's security teams by providing industry leading threat intelligence and research alongside a proven security operations team focused on monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats in our customer's environment. Our customers trust us to keep them safe and we wanted to reward that trust.

Cybersecurity Breach Warranty

Starting November 21st, we partnered with Cysurance to introduce a Cybersecurity Breach Warranty, at no additional cost, as part of our MDR and MDR PLUS packages providing additional peace of mind to our customers. This warranty will be included for all new and existing customers and coverage amounts will be dependent on the MDR license package you have purchased. See the table below for further details:

Cybersecurity Breach Warranty Management

You can find the warranty section in the MDR portal in the left column under Service Management. It provides details about the warranty such as a list of security incidents covered, a link to the Terms and Conditions for review, license details matching your existing contract, and a link to prerequisites that must be met before filing a claim.

Here you can also initiate the claim process, which we hope you'll never need to use. Any claim is sent directly to Cysurance for simplified processing. To learn more about the warranty, please check out the FAQ page.

Summary

With the addition of the Cybersecurity Breach Warranty to our MDR offering, we're rewarding the trust that our customers place in us to protect their organization. In partnership with Cysurance, the warranty will cover customers in the event of a security incident with up to $1,000,000 in financial assistance.
