The Twitter and Instagram accounts of pop singer Taylor Swift fell victim to a hack that, while lasting only 15 minutes, invited her 51 million fans to follow hackers` accounts, according to The Guardian.

The two Twitter handles, @lizzard and @veriuser, allegedly belong to the leader of the Lizard Squad. Both Twitter accounts were briefly suspended.
Taylor confirmed the hack on her Tumblr page.
My twitter got hacked but don`t worry. Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment,” she said.
Swift`s Instagram feed was also hacked, with her 20 million followers seeing suspicious images and the same messages inviting to follow hackers` accounts.
The hackers said they would leak nude images of the singer in exchange for Bitcoins. Swift claims hackers don`t have access to any private pictures, saying:
Psssh you`d love that wouldn`t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.”
Lizard Squad is in the spotlight these days, standing accused of defacing the site of Malaysian Airlines and for being responsible for an outage on Facebook and Instagram servers, which Facebook later denied.
