Bitdefender Security for Virtualized Environments (SVE) provides VDI-in-a-Box users three major benefits.  First, the virus definition database is stored, on a dedicated central Security Virtual Appliance.  Therefore when VMs are refreshed, information will not be lost.  Second, when the centralized database is updated, users no longer need to download updates on an individual basis.  Third, to maximize resources and avoid overconsumption associated with traditional AV solutions, SVE can centralize scanning or stagger scanning, based on their environment and needs. 

Like Citrix VDI-in-a-Box, Security for Virtualized Environments was built with simplicity and manageability in mind. Implementation can be done in as little as an hour, and once up and running, SVE is streamlined to minimize day-to-day management costs.   From a licensing perspective, SVE can be licensed either via CPU or on a concurrent user based pricing, which provides an intuitive and scalable pricing that fits the VDI-in-a-Box model.
