'Mega-suite' Total Security and 'impressive' Antivirus Plus keep Bitdefender on top

Bitdefender, the innovative provider of antivirus software solutions,won back-to-back PCMag Editor’s Choice awards for its latest generation of products, with accolades from top reviewer Neil Rubenking including `top notch,’ `impressive’ and `no-hassle.’

Bitdefender Total Security won with a “mega-suite” style that lives up to the product’s name, while Bitdefender Antivirus Plus impressed the magazine with enough “relevant, effective security features to make your head spin.”

The accolades add to a series of high-profile awards for Bitdefender, including the global #1 spot in rigorous testing by independent analysts from AV-TEST, Product of the Year by AV-Comparatives and a VBSpam+ Award that made Bitdefender software the most awarded in the history of anti-spam testing by independent analysis firm Virus Bulletin.

“If you want a mega-suite that does just about everything conceivable in the realm of security, Bitdefender will suit you perfectly,” Rubenking wrote of Bitdefender Total Security, highlighting “accurate antispam and antiphishing, no-hassle firewall, full-scale parental control, and more.”

Announcing the second Editor’s Choice award of the year for Bitdefender, Rubenking wrote that `the "Plus" in Bitdefender Antivirus Plus is definitely merited. Best of all, its core antivirus functionality earned good scores in my tests and great scores from the independent labs.’

Bitdefender last month launched its latest generation of products with innovations including Bitdefender Photon™, a new technology that tailor-fits to each user’s computer for fast scanning, a quicker boot time, smooth interaction with apps, and the New Wallet, which allows quick access to crucial data while keeping it safe.
