Cloud Native Security (sometimes referred to as Cloud Native Application Protection Platform, or CNAPP) is a term that generally used to describe a solution which performs both cloud workload security (runtime protection, container security, etc.) and Cloud Security Platform Management.

With CIEM, you can spot over-privileged identities which can be assigned to people or services (like a web server). If that identity or service is compromised, making sure identities have the minimum permissions (least privilege principle) to perform their task is very important to limit breach impact.
