You can access the Breach Warranty page from the Service Management section. With the MDR Cybersecurity Breach Warranty feature, you can file a claim in case of any incident eligible for compensation.

On the Breach Warranty page, you have access to the following information about the Bitdefender MDR Cybersecurity Breach Warranty add-on:

The list of losses eligible for coverage and the compensation amount vary based on the tier of the Managed Detection and Response you have purchased:

  • The Bitdefender Managed Detection and Response includes the Bitdefender MDR Cybersecurity Breach Warranty add-on, which covers up to 100,000 dollars for Ransomware cases.

  • The Bitdefender Managed Detection and Response PLUS comes with the Bitdefender MDR Cybersecurity Breach Warranty PLUS add-on, which provides 1 million dollar coverage for the following business losses:

    • Ransomware

    • Business email compromise

    • Business income loss

    • Compliance and regulatory failure

    • Cyber legal liability

Any claim must be filed within two days of an incident discovery. When filling the form, provide a detailed description of the event.

For a company to qualify for financial reimbursement in our Bitdefender MDR Cybersecurity Breach Warranty program, all prerequisites must be met and acknowledged. Eligibility does not apply retroactively to incidents created beforehand.

Filing a claim

To file a claim, click File claim in the Breach Claim Form card. This opens an online form and you need to fill in various details about the incident and contact information.

Important

Only users with an Admin role can file claims.
