Notifications
Notifications allow you or anyone from your company to be notified via email when new information is available.
The following categories are included:
Reports:
Monthly reports
Incident (Flash report and After action report)
Tipper
Threat hunts
Recommendations
Investigations
To configure notifications, click the bell button on the upper right side of any Bitdefender MDR console page.
Note
The button is only visible to users with admin or user roles.
This will open the Notifications screen, which has two tabs available:
This tab allows you to enable or disable notifications, and configure the frequency with which each one will be sent to the designated targets.
Enabling and disabling notifications
Use the Notifications button to turn notifications on or off.
Configuring notification frequency
You can configure how often you wish to receive each notification type:
Never: no emails will be sent for this notification type.
Immediate: an email is sent as soon as a new item is available.
Daily digest: a daily email is sent, including a list of all new items from the previous day.
Weekly digest: a weekly email is sent, including a list of all new items from the previous week.
This tab allows you to specify where the notifications will be sent.
To add a new recipient, type in the email address and click the Add button:
For MSP customers
To avoid end customers receiving information about other end customers, we recommend only sending notifications to members of your MSP.
