Mobile Security requirements

To prepare for GravityZone Mobile Security configuration, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Access to GravityZone Control Center

    If you do not have a Bitdefender account, you can find more information in the following resources:

  • GravityZone Mobile Security add-on license key.

  • One of the supported Operating Systems:

    • Android & Chromebook

GravityZone MTD software requirements

GravityZone MTD software requirements for Android and Chromebook

To install and enable the GravityZone MTD on a Android device, you must make sure to meet the following software requirements:

  • Android version 6 or later is required.

  • The local on-demand VPN functionality requires Android 6 or higher.

  • For full Knox device action support, Android version 7 and Knox version 2.7 or later are required.

Note

The Chromebook must support Android apps and the Google Play Store. You can see a list of Chromebook devices that support Android apps here.

GravityZone MTD software requirements for iOS

To install and enable the GravityZone MTD on an iOS device you must make sure you meet the following software requirements:

  • iPhone - requires iOS 12.0 or later.

  • iPad - requires iPad OS 12.0 or later

  • Local VPN functionality - requires iOS 12 or higher.

  • Device - 64-bit version of the device.
