Collect Bitdefender Security Server Logs
This information helps the Bitdefender Enterprise Support Team to investigate and resolve the issues you encountered with your Security Server and your XDR Network sensor.
Collect all the needed information in one of the following ways:
Use SSH
Connect to the Security Server via SSH.
You may use PuTTy.
Log in with root and provide the password for this user.
For Security Server Multi-Platform:
Run the following command:
# /opt/BitDefender/bin/bdsysinfo-sve
.Collect the generated archived from
/root
in the following format:# bdsysinfo-xxxxx_date.tar.gz
.
For Security Server NSX-V and NSX-T, or the XDR Network sensor:
Run the following command:
# /opt/bitdefender/bin/bdsysinfo-sve
.Collect the generated archived from
/root
in the following format:# bdsysinfo-xxxxx_date.tar.gz
.
Use WinSCP to copy the file to your machine.
Use the Control Center
In the Network page, select your Network Sensor Virtual Appliance.
Select the Troubleshooting tab.
Click Gather logs and save to the target machine:
For Security Server Multi-Platform the path is:
/opt/BitDefender/var/support_logs
.For Security Server NSX-V and NSX-T, or the XDR Network sensor, the path is:
/opt/bitdefender/var/support_logs
.
Select the destination of the log file. You can save it on the network share or locally.
If Security Server is connected to GravityZone Cloud, you can save the logs to Bitdefender Cloud.
Click Begin session in the Debug Session tab to gather logs while reproducing the issue.
Use this option for the following issues:
Antimalware Scanning
Communication
You can complete this log by selecting a timeout in the Debug Session Task tab or by clicking the Finish Debug Session button.
Logs are collected the following way:
On the target machine
On the network share
In Bitdefender Cloud
