Overview
This integration enables the provisioning of Kaseya VSA X organizations as GravityZone companies and provides automation for the Bitdefender security agent deployment. The integration is achieved via Kaseya VSA X App.
The Kaseya VSA X inventory serves as the starting point to be provisioned into the GravityZone inventory and map the corresponding entities to each other. Once the mapping is established, Kaseya VSA X App is designed to improve the automation and the data sharing between Kaseya VSA X and GravityZone by offering actions as response to any discrepancy regarding the inventories or agents, in order to keep them synchronized.
This documentation is intended to guide Kaseya VSA X administrators to integrate GravityZone with their platform.
Integration features
The Kaseya VSA X integration comes with features as detailed in the table below.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Inventory synchronization | Provides automatic and manual inventory synchronization of Kaseya VSA X organizations with GravityZone companies, with automatic and manual event handling capabilities. |
Agent synchronization | Provides automatic and manual deployment of Bitdefender agent on Kaseya VSA X endpoints with automatic and manual event handling capabilities. |
How the integration works
The integration maps Kaseya VSA X inventory to GravityZone companies via the Kaseya VSA X App.
Bitdefender hosts GravityZone Control Center, a multi-tenant console where MSPs can manage their customers and apply security protection for specific companies. Kaseya VSA X App is a management console that facilitates the mapping of Kaseya VSA X organizations to GravityZone companies.
After a Kaseya VSA X organization is mapped to a GravityZone company, Kaseya VSA X App creates an association between the two entities. The new associations are the backbone for the automatic synchronization between Kaseya VSA X and GravityZone.
When creating inventory associations, the integration also provisions the necessary resources for deploying the Bitdefender agent to individual or multiple targets within the associated inventory.
